Following a career that has defined the landscape of American television comedy, legendary writer and producer Don Reo—this year’s recipient of the Writers Guild of America’s prestigious Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award for Television Writing Achievement—presents his new live one-man show, "An Evening With Don Reo.” Moving from the writers' room to the stage, Reo offers an unfiltered masterclass in storytelling. The production serves as a journey through the golden eras of show business, woven together with the wit, nostalgia, and sharp observation that characterized his decades of influence in the industry. "An Evening With Don Reo" transcends the traditional retrospective. It is a candid exploration of a life spent crafting the narratives of others, now turned inward to examine the truth of the human experience through live performance. From his early days in Rhode Island to the heights of Hollywood success, Reo connects the dots between personal history and the universal art of the "sitcom."

Don Reo is one of the most prolific forces in television history. His storied career is marked by contributions to some of the most influential programs in the medium, including writing for the groundbreaking MAS*H and the legendary Cher variety show. He later served as executive producer for the massive hit Two and a Half Men. As a creator and showrunner, Reo’s vision brought to life a string of iconic hits, including the beloved Blossom, the critically acclaimed The John Larroquette Show, the long-running family favorite My Wife and Kids, and the recent Netflix success The Ranch. His contributions to the craft were recently honored with the Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award, the highest accolade bestowed by the WGA for a body of work that has advanced the literature of television and made a significant impact on the industry.
